After a morning Rouvy ride, Gwen, Abby
and I went shopping for Halloween Costumes at
the Dollar Store and the Thrift Store. In the afternoon
we watch the Oregon Ducks play football in the rain.
Apparently Ducks do better in the rain than
Wisconsin Badgers.

This was a nice day for a bicycle ride.
I rode Aviation Bikeway for the first
time this season. I planned to do 20
miles but ended up doing 30 miles.

I rode to the park's morning meeting
but once I saw the doughnut sponsor I
decided not to attend. It was an RV dealer
and I'm not interested in the RV dealer. Then
I visited our trailer to get a charger but it seems I
found the wrong charger which means another
visit possibly tomorrow. Finally I drove to the
grocery store and found the price of the item I
wanted had increased by 20% (sad face).

Tuesday: October 21, 2025
My day began with a Zwift ride. Zwift
sets up a series of group rides with
a theme. This time they call the theme
"Unlocked" meaning unlocking the new
routes they have created in the different
areas of the virtual country. I believe there are
six different routes released once each week.
Today I rode Stage 3. Of course Zwift rewards the
rider with virtual rewards like hats and socks.

Another road ride today just
exploring for 20 miles after
riding south on the Loop.
Two games today on Monday night
football. One of our favorite Quarterbacks,
Baker Mayfield did not win. Quarterback Jared Goff
and the Lion's defense were working well tonight.

This is the first day of the new RV Park season.
Also the first Wednesday morning all-park
meeting with coffee and donuts. Afterwards I
tried a bike ride knowing that my rear tire was
falling apart, the rubber was separating so I was
riding on threads. I chose to ride anyway but not
far from home. For some reason my front tire was
losing pressure, go figure. I returned home and
will work on tires later.

The remnants of Hurricane Priscilla are
slowly approaching. As I said yesterday, the
weather forecast continues to change, mostly
decreasing the amount of rain. The forecast for
rain is now about half what was forecast at the
beginning of the week. Unfortunately, the decrease in
rain happens with almost every storm. I don't believe
I've ever measures more than an inch at any one time.
I did get my rain jacket out of the trailer today since
my son Joe and I plan to be sitting in the Arizona
stadium tomorrow afternoon and evening.

My day began with another Zwift ride. In the
Tucson area the hourly news is an update on
hurricane Priscilla. The weather forecast here is usually
pretty accurate for temperature but the forecast for rain
is virtually never accurate. These last few days the rain
forecast has changes greatly each day, maybe each hour.
For example, yesterday's forecast was for nearly 2" of rain
on Sunday, today, it's less than half an inch on Sunday. The
four
day storm forecast is for nearly 7" of rain over the four
days.
It will be interesting to learn who is correct.

from our south. It is expected to arrive here
on Saturday, the day my son Joe and I will be
attending the Arizona vs BYU football game.

Gwen and I visited two new locations for
us today. The first was a UNCA retail store. This store
stocks products from all over the world. Every sale benefits
the United Nations Children's Fund. Our second location
was a cafe new to us.
