_____________________________________ Tuesday, October 26, 2021 I picked up a neighbor at her auto mechanic first thing then delivered items to recycle. Gwen went to Sit'n Sew then to have her nails done. During that time, I took Abby for a run/walk in the back 40. My Zwift ride today included son Ben who is in Reno and and friend Glen in Roseburg. I Rode Zwift this morning under the gazebo then the rest of the day was a football day. However, Abby is bored having to stay in the motorhome due to the rain. Back home in time to watch The Chiefs beat the Eagles, the Jets defeat the Titans and the Packers defeat the Steelers. Hoping the Patriots defeat Brady and the Bucks. _____________________________________ Saturday, October 2, 2021 I did an Umpqua Velo Club ride today into southeast Roseburg area. All new roads for me. After the ride I watched the Oregon Ducks give their game away in the last 2 minutes to Stanford. But later, I watch the Oregon State Beavers beat the Washington Huskeys to become the number 1 PAC12 team first time in the history of the program. _____________________________________ Friday, October 1, 2021 Abby and I began this day with a hike in the back forty. That followed by a ride on Zwift. This time I rode with a pace partner, something new for me. After the Zwift ride, Abby and I went shopping to Costco for socks and three bean salad. I didn't like any of the socks and Costco was out of stock on the three bean salad so we tried JCPenney next. That store is out of business in Roseburg. We drove to Fred Meyer where I found socks, buy one and the second is half off. I got one package of six and a second of three. By this time, Abby was ready to return home. Once home, she wanted to go for a run. I loaded the trash into the golf cart, took Abby with me to dump the trash then off to the back forty again. She met Harley and Fairbanks already playing in the field.
