Cleaning out the shed today and continuing to
set up the Gazebo to my liking. It has been
raining for two days. That doesn't happen in
Tucson. It is also only 50+ degrees, something
else which is rare even during the winter in Tucson.

Tuesday: April 21, 2026
This has been an errand day with a trip to
Winco Foods then Costco. Winco just after 8 am
and Costco at 9 am. That is the best time to shop
I have learned since both stores had few shoppers.
My Spectrum modem was delivered by FedEx so
much of the afternoon was spent setting up WiFi.
The rest of the afternoon was used to pull weeds
and rake leaves.

This was a spa day for Abby. Gwen
and I used up our last two Bisbee Breakfast Club
gift cards after dropping Abby at the groomer.
After breakfast we did more shopping. I installed
the roof rack to the Highlander in preparation for
leaving tomorrow.

I spent most of this day completing
a list of things I must do before
leaving at the end of the week.
The trailer is parked out front where
it is to be cleaned and loaded with the
things I believe I will need when I
arrive in Oregon. For example, my
bike tools and stand needed to be loaded
into the car. The solar panels needed to
be stored and my GoPro camera needed to
be found and stored in the trailer.

Gwen and I heard from others in our park
that the Albertson's Grocery store83.7 nearby was
going our of business and offered 75% off
all store items. By the time we got there, they
had everything at 90% off. Very little was left,
two medium shelves of product. I grabbed some
jellied cranberry sauce while Gwen grabbed some
Progresso Soup. We got 12 cans (1 case) of a variety
of soup flavors for ourselves. Then we began to think
of the food bank and got another four cases to donate
to the food bank. We dropped that soup off on
the way home.

Wednesday: April 1, 2026
April Fools day has been good. I drove
with Gwen to two thrift shops. Abby was with
us so I sat in the car with Abby much of the time.
Gwen found what she was looking for. She's building
inventory for a couple of classes she plans to
teach this summer and next fall. I was able to
preview a destination for next Monday's
RCE Bicycle Club ride.
