_________________________________ Tuesday: September 1, 2026 Today was the Highlander mechanic day. I wanted to be sure the Highlander had a "wellness check" before I started the long drive back to Arizona. My mechanic works out of a garage on a rural road near the Farm Store. I had a plan...drop off the Highlander and walk the 1.5 miles to the Farm Store for coffee and something for breakfast. It took me 25 minutes to walk that 1.5 miles only to learn the Farm Store is closed on Tuesday. So I walked 1.5 miles back to my mechanic. I couldn't believe how busy that rural road was at 9 am in the morning. High: 81 ; Low: 55 ; Max Wind: 11.4
