Thursday -
Saturday: September 17 - 26, 2026: This has been a long
travel time. First to Reno, Nevada to visit the kids and
grandkids. I have two grandchildren in the NICA Mountain
Bike races, Noah and Lucy. Noah placed first in his race
while Lucy placed seventh. Dave enjoyed seeing Joe and
Casey again and we both enjoyed staying in Joe's house.
Then we had a long drive through the Nevada high desert
to Boulder City, Nevada for the night. Noise from the
Best Western neighbor got us out of bed at 4 am. We
skipped the BW breakfast to drive the rest of the trip
to Tucson, Arizona. This is a great time in the Rincon
Country East RV Resort because the RVers have not
arrived yet so not busy. Behind the sunset photo you
will find the first Scorpion we've seen on our carport.
