A Visit from the Oregon
State Governor

September 28, 2005: Yesterday was a special day at my work location. The Governor of the state of Oregon, Ted Kulongoski, visited to sign a funding bill which will give our local community college and Southern Oregon University a major part of the money needed to build a joint community college-SOU building in downtown Medford. This building will add classrooms to both campuses as well as a section for business training. This is my first chance to be this close to our Ted Kulongoski
governor. My assistant, Sarah is standing directly behind the governor as he is signing the bill. She is the President of the student body for the community college and her presence was specifically requested by the governor. I probably won't get any work from her for the rest of the year.
